Amy Glosser is founder and CEO of BYKlyn Indoor Cycling and Fitness (Bike-lyn), Brooklyn’s own indoor cycling studio with group classes for all – newbies to competitive triathletes. So how is BYKlyn different? No judgments, no fancy clothes and a service-oriented staff who takes the time to know your name, fit you on the bike and make your experience great. The prices are reasonable, the vibe is definitively Brooklyn and BYKlyn is deeply devoted to building community.
A graduate of Wharton Business School, Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and Vassar College, Glosser’s background is primarily in marketing and consulting, with brand management experience at Kraft Foods and Hebrew National, along with marketing consulting experience on her own and with Consumer Dynamics.
Glosser’s a lifelong fitness enthusiast: She dreamed about creating a cycling studio during her many rides and classes at other studios, so she took the plunge and created BYKlyn in 2014. Originally from Johnstown, PA, Glosser gravitates toward anything that gives that small-town vibe. And that’s what she strives for with BYKlyn, a place that feels local, community-focused, personal and comfortable.
