Lise Kuecker is a multi-7 figure serial entrepreneur in the health and wellness industry. Beginning in 2006, she built a yoga, Pilates and personal training business inside of Intel Corporation.
In 2008, she launched her first brick and mortar studio in southern Mississippi. In spite of of her move into a small market, she opened her studio with nearly 300 members and grew this to nearly 1,000 members, personal training clients, small group training clients, athletic training clients and private yoga clients. This studio had an in-house HIT area and room with certified Crossfit coaches along with a private yoga and cycle center.
In 2010, she opened her second brick and mortar facility in South Carolina. This facility opened with nearly 300 members and quickly grew to 800 members, personal training clients, small group training clients and group training clients, with an average paid group class size of 50 clients and a secondary wait list. This facility was adjacent to a physical therapy center and worked alongside the physical therapy clinic to provide post-rehabilitative care.
In 2011, she opened her third brick and mortar facility in South Carolina. This business had a rough opening, that was transformed two and half months in with a $104,000 one day sale. This business grew to 750 members with numerous corporate clients, personal training clients, small group training clients, private yoga clients and athletic training clients.
In 2012, she purchased a failing studio in Minnesota. Within three months the studio was profitable and by the end of the year it was the Kuecker’s most profitable studio. It grew to 1,000 members, personal training clients, small group training clients, athletic training clients and group training clients.
In 2014, she moved her Mississippi studio from it’s original 4,500 square foot location to a 6,500 square foot location to accommodate the growth it had experienced.
In 2015, she began formally consulting with studio owners around the world, continuing the informal business consulting she had done for years. During this time she negotiated updated, transferred leases for a record breaking sale of 3 Anytime Fitness locations. She also negotiated a $360,000 reduction in rent over a ten-year period for a Wisconsin franchisee.
In 2015, she negotiated the lease and opening of a second location in Minnesota and in early 2016 began the process of hiring her team.
In 2016, she sold her studios for multiple 7 figures within a five month period. Her “failing studio” sold for 7 figures on it’s own, proof that even studios with massive struggles that are losing thousands of dollars a month are capable of revitalization with the right systems.
Since 2015, Lise has taught tens of thousands of fitness and mind-body professionals, working one-thousand plus clients in 18 countries in an intimate setting.
Her team, which include 21 employees and team members, are award winning management professionals in small box health clubs, personal training studios, kickboxing studios, barre studios, Pilates studios, heated and non-heated yoga studios and HIIT studios.
