Stacey Artandi Seldin is the CEO and Co-founder of Mariana Tek and leads the company’s overall direction, brand, and growth strategies. Prior to this, she spent over 25 years in executive leadership roles across several media and technology companies.
After receiving her B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Stacey joined the Tribune Company’s M&A team, where she led a number of strategic investments, including in grocery delivery company PeaPod.
In 1993, Stacey moved to New York to join the Food Network as its first VP of Marketing – and the network’s fourth employee – to help develop, launch and grow the popular cable network.
After that, Stacey turned her focus to the internet, and hightailed it to Silicon Valley where she worked on several ventures, including Disney/Infoseek and THERE. She returned to New York to lead American Lawyer Media’s online properties where she built a profitable portfolio of web-based businesses across dozens of brands.
In 2009, Stacey joined the founding team of Flywheel Sports to lead its technology division. Stacey and her team built the company’s proprietary studio management software from scratch, a first in the industry. She also launched the boutique industry’s first iOS app to great acclaim. The Flywheel app has served as the industry’s standard-bearer…until now.
Stacey then founded Mariana Tek to create an enterprise-focused business management platform featuring robust features, a world-class API, industry leading mobile apps, and a best-in-class user experience. Today, the company is growing rapidly with over 35 employees in Washington, D.C. and New York, and a national footprint of some of the most successful and desirable brands in boutique fitness.
